How are my towing costs calculated?
If you are towed by the RCMP, for things such as immediate roadside prohibitions, that can range from 24 hours to 30+ days, the rates are regulated throughout the province by Road Safety BC. These rates are provided to towing companies and are annually adjusted.

If you are towed by The City for a parking or bylaw infraction, these rates are determined by The City and are provided to its approved towing company. You pay The City as we tow these vehicles to their impound yard.

Our other rates include factors that are no different from other businesses. Equipment cost ($50,000 to $550,000), fuel costs, labor costs, insurance costs, maintenance, dispatch costs and numerous other costs.

Is your vehicle safe in our compound?
Yes. a large compound surrounded by barbed wire, commercial grade fencing. A sophisticated camera system is aided by large commercial lighting. Vehicles are all locked and keys are tagged and are placed within a locked room. All trespassers are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. We do our very best to secure your belongings.
What is fuel surcharge?
A fuel surcharge is a fee that can be added to the freight charges that allows the hauler to be reimbursed for excessive fuel costs incurred in the performance of hauling freight from one point to another. This assessment doesn’t require governmental approval and you do not need to file an application with DOT to implement a fuel surcharge. We choose to follow Road Safety BC’s fuel surcharge system that is calculated quarterly and assists in the consistency and justification of the rates.
